Mike started this season as the hardest part of the biggest Loser campus. What weight of 526, he seemed destined to be 12th place finisher, or at least stop the game playing members want to get the final price.But thanks to our warm, fuzzy batch of contestants this year, Mike made it to the final four — and lost enough weight to shatter Danny's record from last year. The guy lost 264 pounds, for a percentage weight loss of 50.19 percent. 50.19 percent! He lost half of himself in these past few months. Yet he still took his confetti shower with a full heart, gifting his mom Maria with a flower, and singing second-place finisher Ashley's praises prior to picking up the win. Let's say it together, friends: Aww. Don't you feel like group hugging right now? Let's all do it. Over the computer. Hug your computer. I'll feel it. Make no mistake about it - MacGruber earn his R rating. This movie is awesomeFor those unfamiliar with MacGruber, the movie is based on the popular Saturday Night Live sketch about a special operations agent named MacGruber (Will Forte) who finds new ways to diffuse bombs (or fail to do so) using every day household items. If it sounds a lot like MacGyver… well, that’s because it’s supposed to.Along with his trusty sidekick Vicki St. Elmo (Kristen Wiig), MacGruber is joined on the big screen by Lt. Dixon Piper (a surprisingly well-timed Ryan Phillippe) in a deadly mission to stop the evil Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer.) Kristen’s awkward quirkiness is in full force and is responsible for most of the movie’s non-MacGruber laughs.

College-bound high school students who took the SATs on May 1, are probably nervous with anticipation today, as scores have just been released. Students can log online to the College Board website to access their SAT score report. A signup is required in order to log in. Scores for SAT II Subject Tests are also available. Paper copies of scores will be mailed beginning May 28. The College Board, a nonprofit organization, owns and publishes the test, while the Educational Testing Service administers it. The SATs were first established in 1901 as a test to determine a student’s readiness for college. There are three parts to the test: math, critical reading, and writing. Three hours and forty-five minutes are allotted to take the test and students must pay $45.

Approximately 2.5-mile mark runners climb up 11.5% over the period of the Fillmore and Steiner grade, where they can reach the highest point race at 215 meters above sea levelFrom there on out, it's downhill along the Panhandle and through Golden Gate Park. Then, after 7.46 miles, it's over! But, the partying and fun doesn't really end once you've completed the course. There are floats, costumes, and likely even some naked people to watch when the hard part is done.The float route is different than the running route, naturally, but both wind up in about the same spot, so you don't have to go too far out of your way to check out all the action. The course was firm early in the week, but rain on Tuesday and Wednesday slightly softened up the fairways and greens.
Look for the players in Thursday’s morning draw to have ideal scoring conditions as the fairways will be very receptive allowing for more shots to be played from the short grass. This is significant because this course needs to be played from the fairway as the length of the rough is primed for flyers. Flyers happen when grass gets caught between the ball and club face. The result is a shot that jumps off the club with very little back spin, cuts through the air like a knuckleball and typically carries much farther than planned. Much farther than planned at TPC Sawgrass can mean certain bogey or worse.
This interesting dynamic has been brought back into play with the new groove rule. I look for the long players to benefit the most from the softer conditions as the ball will not be rolling out as much, allowing them to be aggressive off the tee. The 2010 quarter also contained a $270 million write-off for taxation of its prescription drug coverage plan for retired employees under the newly-enacted healthcare bill.
