the open championship

The 2010 British Open started out with a bang in the first round as Rory McIlroy was a member of "63" club. This put the small McIlroy solidly in first place with a fantastic 9 under par. Tiger Woods is a good first round and the 4 strokes back under 5. The Open Championship was held in St. Andrew, Scotland which is widely considered the "home" of golf. Oosthuizen is in second place at 8 under par,

John Daly started with a first round of 6 under par putting him tied for 3rd. This course is known for its constantly changing winds that gives players fits. Tiger Woods stated that he felt good about his first round and had a little warning for the leader Rory McIlroy when he said this course can change on you in an instant.
