Mother of Phoenix Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire was arrested with no Ignition interlock device on his car, Scottsdale, Arizona, police said.Scottsdale police closed the Carrie Mae Stoudemire, 54, around 3:25 on Saturday, according to the police report prepared by Arizona Republic. Her Lincoln Navigator was straddling two lanes about 60 km / h on the road, police saidStoudemire refused a field sobriety test, and was handcuffed and placed into a patrol car. Amar'e Stoudemire and another man arrived shortly afterward but the paper reported police asked them to leave after Carrie Stoudemire began to yell "Amar'e!" several times.Carrie Stoudemire told police she wasn't aware that she needed to have an ignition interlock device on all of her vehicles and that the Navigator was rented. Her driver's license says her vehicles must have the device until Oct. 30.The woman's eyes were "watery and glassy," the officer wrote. She told the officer she was on her way to an alcohol class.She was taken to the Scottsdale jail, charged with speeding, operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and failure to drive in a single lane, and was later released, police said.The paper reported she has been in jail multiple times on charges including drug possession and prostitution.
