nh unemployment

nh unemployment
NH has been a sharp increase in unemployment over the past few years. It is also aggravated by the economic downturn last year, and without a government bailout money may be more unemployed people. There is hope for a brighter future and a downward trend in unemployment problem.New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch, NH Tuesday, signed "NH Employment Plan". The law allows companies and their employees in a reduction of hours rather than layoffs. Many would think that this means lower pay for employees agreeing to the law. However, the state had also increased unemployment benefits in order to compensate for the lost wages.
Gov. Lynch meanwhile said that the state will also try to find ways to generate more jobs and end soon the NG unemployment dilemma. This NH Unemployment law is also developed to cut back demand for jobless benefits and keep employees eligible for wellness benefits. This way the actual cost of unemployment benefits is reduced since it prevents layoffs. By preventing layoffs jobs are preserved and government funds are also saved to be used for meaningful job generation rather than providing for unemployment benefits. The new law also effectively puts the New Hampshire Training Fund to $2 million a year which is double than the previous year’s allocation. However, this increase will enable the Department of Employment Security to utilize those funds to train unemployed workers.
