May 25 (Bloomberg) - Trinidad and Tobago opposition leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar General of the Caribbean nation's first female prime minister after his coalition won national elections today, the Trinidad Express reports.Prime Minister Patrick Manning conceded defeat after preliminary results showed the National Movement of people who have lost 14 of 26 seats in Parliament, Port of Spain-based newspaper said today on its websiteFormer Attorney General Persad-Bissessar’s People’s Partnership coalition won 29 seats with her United National Congress party taking 21 seats, giving the UNC a simple majority in the 41-seat Parliament.
